A DJ with twelve tungsten uplighters can turn a white ballroom into a single-colour room. You cannot white-balance your way out of a room that has one colour in it.
What works is adding a light that disagrees. One panel at 5600K on the couple, no gel, feathered so it dies before the wall.
In the grade you're then separating two colours instead of inventing one. Ten minutes instead of an evening.
