The three lenses I never swap out

A 24mm, a 35mm and a 55mm cover a full day. Everything else is insurance I stopped paying for.

I carried seven lenses for four years. I used three of them, and I carried the other four because a forum told me a wedding could go wrong in a way only a 135mm could fix.

The 35mm lives on the camera. The 24mm comes out in rooms too small to back out of, which is most getting-ready rooms. The 55mm is for the ceremony and the speeches, and that is the entire kit.

Fewer lenses is not a minimalism flex. It's that every swap is fifteen seconds where I am looking at a bag instead of a wedding.
